From Joy

it's amazing to me that as soon as i'm with a trusted friend i can't stop talking about what is going on inside me, but when i sit infront of my computer to write something on my blog my mind just goes blank! Like nothing i'm going thru right now is worth posting about. Maybe it is. I've changed the name of my blog to From Joy. A while back i was really touched by the verse about the hidden treasure. It makes me wonder if when we find that treasure aka: Jesus if our FIRST reaction to Him is joy. Not guilt, pressure, or fear but joy. Knowing our lives will never be the same now that we have found Him. Delightful JOY, That then sends us into our lives to sell EVERYTHING WE OWN and follow Him... just to have that Treasure. I'd love to see more followers of Jesus From Joy, instead of.. It's just the right thing to do..

He has been teaching me a lot about prayer, I'm working on this book by Leanne Payne, Listening Prayer, and i'm really excited about how practical her instructions are to learning to pray in this way. I heard once that Americans pray with their mouth and their mind, when Koreans pray with their heart and their ears. I'd like to learn to pray that way. I'd like to know what He has to say to me about being my dad. I know i'm going thru a process of being re-parented. He wants to be my Father. He always has been but i never saw Him that way. I know it's time for me to know this.

I'd like to start being honest on this blog, i tried it once before but it's hard. I know those who read are people that care more for me than i'll ever know and if there is anyone i want to know what is really in my heart its them. i love you guys. So let me begin to share what is really FROM JOY.....
