The night i conquered my vomit phobia (or it conquered me)

**WARNING** not to be read by those with a weak stomach.. i will not be responsible for the consequences..

So, until Candace has her baby, and gets to talk about projectile vomiting i'll go ahead and step up. Cause this is a story to be told.

The night started off pretty good. It was date night, monday night. We decided to go to Merriweathers. I know, pretty upscale, but that was way too expensive and not so good.. $44 for an OK meal? Not cool.. But we got over that and went to a movie, Elizabethtown I love that movie!! If you haven't seen it you must. I feel like my dad was a lot like Drew's dad. Very moving.

I think i ate too much candy, that i smuggled into the theater (you don't expect me to pay more for some candy than the $1 movie do you??) So i go thru this ritual where i empty out my purse and fill it up with goods for the flick.. water, candy, and whatever else i feel like eating. This night wasn't any different... I thought.

But when i got home i started feeling sick. Some of you know i have (had) a phobia of vomiting.. i mean i will do ANYTHING to keep from going there.. I will sit on the pot all night if that means it doesn't have to come up.. So i fought for a while. I actually thought if i got some sleep i would be fine, then i remembered the phone call with my mom on the way to dinner that night. She said, she got this bug that the girls had (the family that came in for christmas with us had been sick before they arrived) I said, well i hope no one else gets it... famous last words..

The fight ended, or began whatever.. *HELL ON EARTH* however you look at it.. at 3:30am it came, hard core.. then an hour and 1/2 later it came again.. then again another hour or so again..um yeah then again.. try 8 TIMES!! It was the most awful time of my life! brian was there with me thru it all. The worse thing about this bug is that it demands from you even when there is NO MORE in your system, when it comes time it still wants more. poor brian actually caught me the time i passed out. After changing the sheets and my pajamas twice, i was beyond grossed out! I don't know if that boy will ever be attracted to me again.. So i thought i had come passed the worse part when mom stopped by around 3 with some gatorade and stuff. She gave me some bananas, rice and some crackers. but then at 5 pm yesterday it came yet again.. this time the last one. (i hope) Even writting this i have had nothing but crackers, toast and liquid.. i just don't want to go back to that.. It was by far the worse thing i've ever been thru. Probably including surgery! it was so aweful!

Word to the wise: If you hear of someone saying they had a night similar to this..or anything about a "24 hr bug" RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!! or it will come to you. it is soo contagious.

SO- don't come near me for at least another week.. i don't know how long i will have the germs but i wouldn't want anyone to get this. Please pray for brian this week if you think of it i am begging God that he will be spared. i swear if he ends up where is was the other night it will come back to me and i won't be able to handle it..

My sister-in-law Traci (who is pregnant) got it too and everyone else was homefree besides mom and i so far

Good news: Mom said it was worse than pregnancy, she said if i could do that then i can handle pregnancy; plus i feel like i lost 10 pounds and i am lookin' good.. still not feeling 100% but lookin' hot!

pretty yuck.. but it had to be told... stay away from the bug! lets fight it together!! :)
