ok, ok.. here's what you have been waiting for

it has been quite a week. It began when Erin asked me in private Wed night at Small Group if i was pregnant.. The dreaded question from ERIN.. let me explain. Erin has an erie intuition about women being pregnant. She has done this many times.. Trust me! She just KNOWS.. i always said she needed to stay far from me when it came to that.. cause i wasn't ready. Aparently i was ready. This night she cought me off guard. She said i should go ahead and pee on a stick cause she was really thinking i was. On the way home Brian was like, well she could be wrong right? um.. no.

I peed on a stick Thursday... faint line.. took a blood test and YES I'M PREGNANT!! oh my gosh! i still don't believe it.. So i asked the nurse if i could tell anyone. (i was already secretly planning to tell everyone i knew..) She said not yet, just tell your husband. She wants me to come in for another blood test next thursday to make sure my levels are ok - please be praying for my baby girl.. (Erin also knows the sex of the baby b4 any of us know) um so i guess there is a high chance of miscarrage in the first trimester and most people.. Kim W. & Janelle and others.. didn't tell untill they are in the "safe to tell time" I'm glad i don't know what that is.. cause EVERYONE KNOWS.. i can't keep secrets. I can't even keep Christmas presents a secret that's why i get them all the week b4 cause i just want to give them right away! I told my brother, Kim and Gaylyn and debated if i should tell the world yet or not. I was pretty nervous. still am a little.

Friday the 24th was the anniversary of my dad's death. That was the day i called mom. She is still in chile. To say she was excited would be an understatement. She laughed and cried after she screamed at everyone around the phone "la Joy esta emarazada!" "la Joy esta emarazada!" "la Joy esta emarazada!" ( Joy is pregnant! in spanish) i can't wait to see here Wed. I'm sure it will make everything real for me to talk with mom about this baby coming. We told Brian's parents who are excited.. but then they are leaving for France on the 29th of March. And my sister-in-law is pregnant too. Told a few more people..

Saturday, told Candace, Kathy, Mary, Steph, Heather and a few others can't remember.

Sunday the news just exploded - everyone at church and everywhere knew and by that night everyone at Knit Nite knew.. there was a baby coming to the Morykon family. I would ask you to pray for my baby girl inside me that she would be healthy and grow at the rate she should. And stay with us this full term even tho i spilled the beans early. I'm technically 4 weeks pregnant i think?
