Wednesday Update
Joy had another rough morning, very tired and weak. I was anxious to get her out of the hospital because just being in there is an energy drain for her, and everyone else for that matter. The nurse and I walked Joy down the hall, which though hard for Joy built up some strength in her. Then, with a little help from Mom, Joy took a shower to wash the hospital smell off -- and not smelling like hospital is enough to make anyone feel much better. At 3pm we were able to sign her out, wheel her down to the car and drive her home.
Jenny, today's nurse, was very nice. And the volunteers were wonderful. Thanks to them.
Joy will be at home recovering for the next few weeks. She probably won't get out at all for a couple weeks. People time is great medicine for Joy, so be sure to stop in and say hi.
She also loves cards -- you can send those to:

Thanks for all your support, meals, prayers, and love. It means the world to us. Hopefully she'll be feeling well enough to take over the blog tomorrow on her laptop.
Take care,
Brian
