my friend steph got together with some friends, mom and dad, my mom, john and deaven, justin and stacey, kim and brian to get me my dream toy, an IPOD. i love it. now i can have my soundtrack playing in the background of my life..

Daily Grind and Karen Kingsbury

So, I started a new job at the Daily Grind in downtown Wyndhurst. I love it! I work nights usually and i have met some amazing people. i really feel like the Holy Spirit of Jesus with me here at work. And the conversations i have had have come from him. the interactions i have had are amazing too. I love the girls i work with: Bethany, Jodi, Shawna, Karen and Katrina. Billy is our Manager and has taught us everything we know about making great drinks. He used to work at the Starbucks in Boonsboro. So Matt Flemming is the new owner, he took over ownership in June, and changed the hours. We are open til 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. I feel like i'm just playing house. It is so fun to make people yummy drinks, get to know them and walk to and from work. (especially with my new ipod :)

Since we changed the hours people aren't used to us being open so late so most of my evenings are pretty slow. After my surgery, I started reading a series by Karen Kingsbury www.karenkingsbury.com and i absolutely love it! So, so far i've finished reading the Redemption series and i'm working on the Baxter Family Drama Firstborn series now. The next book comes out in October. I'm so excited about it. her books are a real encouragement to me. I hope more will read her books. I have learned so much about listening to God thru them. Thank you Karen.
