My one night stand with 572 Homewood Drive

Dear Homewood,

I heard of you last night and I really thought you were the one. We have intentionally been staying away from Lynchburg MLS so we are not tempted to find you before it is the right time. Brian just happen to be looking around and you came up. All your stats were perfect. Everything we wanted and needed. Location, check! main level laundry, check! 4 bedrooms (just wanted 3) check! 2 bath, check! County taxes even! and that picture of you is just so perfect. So, I begged Brian to take me over at night in the rain just to see you. Kim was here, Lucy was sleeping perfect opportunity? After much begging I convinced him to take me to you. There in the middle of a rainy night. I fell for you. Your stone exterior and huge lot on a culdasac. I couldn't sleep that night I just stayed up thinking of you and what we could be together for my family.

The next morning I canceled everything just to be with you. Just to see if the possibility of us was real. Please let there not be a contract.. It is just soo perfect. We arrived at 9am and looked in your windows again and all around the perfect little lot you sit on. Spoke to Gene the sweet neighbor who told us every story of every family who lived in you and all of the neighbors around you. The realtor arrived around 10:30 and she showed us who you really are. With every new room my dreams were dashed and replaced with visions work, lots and lots of work. You are just so boxy all 1300 square feet of you. I couldn't breath.

I had to say good bye to you Homewood. I'm sorry it didn't work out for us. I know there is someone out there for you. We are just not the ones.

Have a good summer, hanging out on the market. You might be there for a while.

Joy, Brian and Lucy Morykon
