Day 2 in Hawaii
We found free internet at this funny little Tecky Expo. Brian and i saw this comercial on tv and planned to rent our car today so we could come to this thing. TOO FUNNY its got maybe 15 booths in this tiny ball room! It was only 2 bucks per person to get in and brian wanted to see what went on around Hawaii with Web stuff. Weve been here 10 minutes and saw the whole thing! it is really funny. The Chamber even has a booth here! We found an Internet Cafe but its like $15 for like 15 minutes. We were like nah we dont need the internet, right now. But then found this thingy and thought i would post.
OK enough on the rediculous intro, the real story is, On our way to the Airport i felt sooo sick, i actually THREW UP on the side of the road, thanks to the Tree of Life cementary, and once we got to the airport we find out our flight got canceled from Greensboro and course didnt have another till Tuesday morning from the burg sweet! We got back from greensboro at like 1 and slept the rest of the day.I was soo pooped from shopping Sat and Sunday for a Dang BATHING SUIT! SOOO the trip was super long. We stoped in Atlanta for like 5 hours, that was rough! I was sick there too! Funnies part was that Brian got the end of his headphones lodged in his ear! IT was histerical cause he couldnt get it out nor could i. WE couldnt do anything with out tweezers and WHO has tweezers in an AIRPORT!!
Our flight to LA was like 5 hrs then we were there for an hr or so. While we were there we managed to use the end of Brians glasses to get the earphone piece out. TOO FUNNY. I know its hard to picture but i was dying laughing! the flight to Hawaii was great, the flight was maybe one fourth full so we both got to stretch out on the 3 seater centers. NICE! Got there at 7pm HI time like 2am our time. So we were pooped. Got to our condo and it was kinda junky, smelled funky but we opened the windows and stuff and it was great. The pool is amazing! and the view of the ocean out there is amazing! Ill post pictures when i get home. Yesterday we both woke up at 6am, 12noon back home, so we have been getting an early start to our day. We hung out, did a lectio together and then walked to the Farmers Market, complete with Hawaii Pineapples and Organic market. We got some goodies there and met a cool guy named Patrick. He just spilled his heart with us. It was almost like he was just waiting for someone to ask how he was. After he told us that he broke up with his girlfriend moved to HI, and now lived with a Philipino family for the last 4 months. He said he was searching for the serenity everyone was talking about in HI. He said he knew it was inside somewhere but he just needed to find it. He said he would love to hang out sometime. Maybe well have him over for dinner. Please pray for Patrick. If he is really searching, may the Lord use us to give him the truth. We will see him tomorrow he works at the Farmers Market then, he chopped up our pineapple.
Then we hung out by the pool and were tired real fast. After another walk at night to the ABC store, dont worry they sell more than booze there guys, and no i wasnt buying booze. Got you a magnet, mom!
Today was soo cool, We went to this resort for a free breakfast and events presentation. We thought it would be pretty high presure but just went for the free food. It was in walking distance from the condo, a LONG walking distance for a pregnant girl! It was so cool, the breakfast was great! AND, we won a free ticket to a sweet LUAU which is exactly what i wanted to do! THEN, there was this funny magician Tim there who we saw again on our way out and he gave us his # and said to call if we wanted to go to a show, its a dinner magic show! sweet more free food! good stuff! Then we went to the rental place, which was way too expensive. Got the car for 2 days so we can get to our Luau tomorrow and come to the silly Tech expo.. So here we are. and im so glad to be blogging on this funny little screen with a messed up keyboard. no apostrophe.. ha! OHHH one more thing! the NEWS IS ACTUALLY HERE!! they are filming the expo! you should see this thing too funny!!
Dont know when ill get to blog again. Love you guys. We are having soo much fun. Pray that we would be intentional about our time here and draw near to the Lord. HI mom! love you guys! Have fun with Sarah! bye.
